All the materials have been sought out with passion and selected with care in different parts of Europe.
A range of high-quality raw materials, discovered, and sometimes boldly combined, after much work in places with ancient cultural roots, off the beaten track.
Leather: Top-quality genuine Italian leather tanned in Tuscany
Orbace: Pure Sardinian sheep’s wool. Durable, water-resistant. Not only a fabric, but also a two-sided tactile experience, antique essence, a geometric Phoenician pattern, homemade with passion in the middle of Sardinia: part of the cultural heritage.
Rubber: The first use of rubber was by the Olmecs, who centuries later passed on the knowledge of natural latex (from the Hevea tree) to the ancient Mayans in 1600 BC. Today, LoLaDB likes to combine rubber with top-quality genuine Italian leather tanned in Tuscany.
Taking her source of inspiration mainly from geometry, architecture, art, nature and poetry, LoLaDB develops ideas. An idea becomes a drawing, the drawing becomes a paper/fabric prototype sewn by hand. The fabric prototype becomes a leather prototype. At this point, if LoLaDB is satisfied, the prototype becomes a bag made with top-quality materials.
Product Care – handle with Love
LoLaDB is designed for those who recognize quality and seek something special. It is important to us to help you keep your merchandise in the best shape possible.
Always store handbags away from light and heat, and protect them from rain and humidity. We suggest storing your handbag stuffed with tissue and kept in its dust bag when not in use. To help maintain its shape, try to avoid crowding your handbag when you store it.
All leather items can last a lifetime if regularly maintained and treated well. Leather is skin and just as you would clean your own, you need to clean and nourish your leather to help it retain its durability and texture. Without proper conditioning and care, leather can dry out until it eventually cracks, scuffs, and stiffens. If carried regularly, leather bags should be polished and conditioned once a month to prolong their lives. When cleaning your leather, never use strong detergents such as laundry detergent. Always choose a product that helps to preserve the leather’s natural lubricating oils rather than strip them away.
